A. Beer Festival:
Enjoy different kinds of beer from Belgium
B. Belgian Market:
Presents an array of iconic Belgian products : Godiva (with a chocolate performance held by Godiva’s own Master Yin ). Goossens Chocolate , Bel-Zims chocolate, Mio Miko Chocolate, Belgian Conférence Pears, French fries, Belgian ice cream, Cookies, Waffles; Lotus will hand out free cookies
C. Concerts:
performances of Chinese bands, a Belgian Jazz band (the renowned Jef Neve Trio: at 7pm, on 29th, Oct) and a Belgian folk band (Orgamusa).
D. Art Exhibition:
Art exhibition of the Guangzhou Academy of Art and Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp). This will mostly be a photographic exhibition, as well as projection of pictures short movies. The works will be displayed around the square to contrast with the Guangzhou highrise, with each time a paired up Belgian photograph with a Chinese photograph . The exhibition will also feature works of two local Belgians: Veerle Hildebrandt (fusion art Sino-Western) and the duo Steven Van Gijsel/Momo Meng.
E. Comic Books:
Exhibition of Tintin, Lucky Luke, Gaston Lagaffe, Thorgal, XIII and Bollie and Billie; Paramount Pictures presenting pictures of their new Tintin movie including an exclusive trailer Suske en Wiske, Lucky Luke and Dokus comic books, the Smurfs comic books, clothing and collectibles will be sold on the site.
F. Diamonds:
The diamond exhibition, sheds light on the secrets of diamond polishing, the Belgian diamond history and offers information on how to tell a good diamond apart. A professional gemologist will be at the scene to verify the quality of diamond jewellery of anyone willing or daring enough...
H. Fashion:
Some of the world’s most famous fashion designers are from Belgium: the “Antwerp Six” (Marina Yi, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dirk Van Saene and Dirk Bikkembergs). This exhibition will put this part of Belgium in the spotlights.
