Philips started operation in Zhuhai in June 1990 as a joint venture with Zhukuan Electronics Industry. Philips WOFE (wholly owned foreign entity) was set up in Aug 2002. There are around 1300 to 1600 employees (depending on the season) working at this plant.

Core activities in CL Zhuhai:

  1. IPC (International Production Center) for Oral Health Care, Shavers, Garment Care products
  2. Supply Center (global)
  3. Re-import Chinese OEM products to serve the Chinese market 
  4. Satellite support

Please note:
It will take about 2.5 hours from Guangzhou to Philips in Zhuhai.
There will be an organized bus (80RMB/person)  from Guangzhou to Zhuhai if there are enough people that would like to go with the bus. So please sign up as soon as possible.
The bus will depart at 11:30am, from the Westin Hotel,Tianhe, Guangzhou.
