Over the past decades, China’s fast growing economy has emerged as one of the most important markets in the world: the 4th largest world economy, the 3rd biggest exporter and the EU’s 2nd largest trading partner. This considerable economic power makes China a highly attractive market and, correctly approached, offers vast potential for European businesses. At the same time China poses important challenges for European businesses in general and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular.
To sustain a high level of competitiveness of European SMEs, profound understanding of new/emerging markets like China is crucial. This is why the Understanding China programme aims to create business and dialogue!
Understanding China Launches 4th cycle of Trainings
We are happy to inform you that following the success of the previous training cycles, Understanding China is now launching the recruitment for the fourth and last cycle of the Understanding China training program. The training program is developed for business intermediary organisations – such as Chambers of Commerce, trade promotion agencies, sectoral associations, etc. The idea is to provide both theoretical and practical China experience to those who are already assisting companies in the internationalisation process on the Asian market (specifically China).
The programme is organised in 4 modules taking place both in the EU and in China (Beijing & Shanghai). Training courses will be complemented by various networking activities to foster the exchange of information and best practices on doing business with China. Trainees will also have the opportunity to exchange experiences with the European-wide network of alumni during a special event that will conclude these four training cycles. The programme covers all costs related to the training except for travels and a standard registration fee (500€).
