The Netherlands is in need of high educated technical professionals to make its knowledge economy grow. These professionals are more and more recruited from countries like China. At the same time, the Chinese government has set a target to transform China into a more innovative and creative country. Therefore it places more emphasis on talent and talent development. How can we create a win-win situation in Sino-Dutch Innovation & Talent cooperation?

Weiming Jiang (DSM China President), Professor Yong Zhang (Polymer Science, Shanghai Jiaotong University), Frans Greidanus (Sr. Vice President Philips Research Asia, CTO Philips Asia), Professor Chun Ding (Director Dutch Studies Centre Fudan University), Rina Joosten-Rabou (Managing Director Asia International Top Talent) and other experts will debate about this subject on Tuesday December 6 at the Sofitel Shanghai Hyland. The honoured Consul General of the Netherlands, Mr. Peter Potman will open the panel discussion.

Before the debate, the first Shanghai’s screening of VPRO Tegenlicht documentary Holland gets Talent will be shown.
