Join us for a roundtable dinner in the company of experienced entrepreneurs in China sharing their stories of how they made it in China. Discuss with them the common obstacles and methods to succeed in China and discover more about the hard world of entrepreneurship.

Nic Pannekeet, Co-founder of Bridge International Holding
Nic Pannnekeet is a well known figure in the Dutch business community for being one of the first successful entrepreneurs in horticulture in China.Nic established himself in Shanghai in 1994 at the age of 24.  After two years of studying Chinese, he and his partner Gijsbert de Bruin set up Bridge International Holding.
At present the Holding consists of the following companies:
CHC Product Development, CHC EXPO, Geerlofs Cooling, CHC Flower partners, Van den Berg Roses. 


Rogier Bikker, Co-founder Energize Shanghai
Rogier Bikker is co-founder of digital marketing agency Energize Shanghai. With a team of 30 professionals in The Netherlands and Shanghai, Energize creates digital marketing campaigns that help ambitious brands grow. Energize works for renowned brands such as Disney, GlaxoSmithKline, Unicef and Miffy. Energize was founded in 2005 in The Netherlands. Rogier has co-founded the Shanghai office in 2009.


Michael Douglas, General Manager of 2-Shanghai Internship Agency

Two years after graduating in Economics from Amsterdam University, Michael planned to move to Shanghai to start his business career. In 2006 he started, together with Lonneke de Greef, the first Dutch internship agency named 2-Shanghai. Next to that Michael is also an active board member of the Dutch Association in Shanghai.
