The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China and the Canada China Business Council
are delighted to invite you to a Business Event on June 28 2011:
Investing in China
Trends, Opportunities & Pitfalls
As the Chairman & CEO of China Hydroelectric Corporation and Chairman of the private investment bank Kuhns Brothers, John Kuhns has over 25 years of doing business in China.
His China investment strategy has been filled with plenty of “firsts” including the successful IPO and New York listing of his company, Catalyst Energy Corporation which according to Inc. magazine, was the fastest growing public company in the United States from 1982 to 1987, becoming a $1 billion enterprise.
But the China investment road hasn’t always been smooth and there have been plenty of pitfalls and bumps along the way.
Join us on Tuesday June 28th as John Kuhns will share his insights and strategy regarding investing in China and what the future holds as well.
Some of the potential questions he’ll address are:
1. What types of industries in China hold the best investment opportunities?
2. What are the preferred structures for investing in companies in China?
3. Should foreign investors in China invest on a controlling or minority basis?
4. Should investors in China invest in State-owned enterprises?
