More and more strikes and social conflicts happen in China, this phenomenon seems to have been accelerating last year. For example, Zhejiang province has 160% more social conflicts in the first quarter of 2010 compared with the same period in 2009.
Addressing social risks shall be a must for all enterprise leaders in the present-day China. What are the main elements in the daily life generating social problems or conflicts? How to minimize social risks? What to do when a conflict happens? What is the best practice to address them?
This training will help you first of all to get a big picture of our today’s social, cultural and legal context of China, and to identify social issues by analyzing some cases related. Then we will provide you with some concepts and tools making you prepared in the field. We will also use case studies to help you understand better the importance of the management system and the role of the management team in order to face social risks.

Mrs. MENG Mei
Consultant in HR management and coach, managing director of Well Terre Ltd
Mrs Meng has rich HR management experience, working as HR manager and HR director at multinational companies in China such as Rhone-Poulenc, Aventis, Sodexho and Mercer.
As founder of Well Terre Ltd, the core of her work is HR management Consulting & Coaching. She has realized important projects such as HR audit, HR people assessment, Internal Communication Audit, coaching to executive and mid managers.
Graduated from Beijing University with bachelor degree in French Literature, Mrs Meng also holds the Certificate of Corporate Coaching (Progress-U, Hong Kong) and Certificate of MBTI, CPP Asia Pacific.
