The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to a Young Professional event on Wednesday May 11 2011:
I am a YP and I want to be a Leader!
You are a Young Professional based in Beijing. You are well-educated, ambitious and rather smart. You want to become a Leader. This event is for you!
Business school gurus have sought to define leadership as a set of measurable practices. Psychologists have sought to identify personality characteristics which predispose people to leadership. It is part of the ongoing “born or made” debate.
In this high-energy, interactive and down to earth seminar, Jasmine Keel will adopt the view of today foremost thinkers on this topic: leadership potential can – and should – be developed.
You will be taken on an exciting 1-hour journey to:
1. Define “the” Leadership Challenge
2. Assess where you stand today
3. Get practical advice on what you can do to achieve this goal
To make this journey real and useful, Jasmine will refer to how top companies and multinationals describe today in China their expectations of “Leaders”. She will also share her own experience of coaching and mentoring high potentials in China.
