EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
The key purpose of BenCham China is to facilitate networking, and we therefore organize a range of events and activities every year.
Corporate Events
Breakfast meetings The Benelux Chamber regularly organizes breakfast seminars to discuss topics that are of current interest to the members of the local business community. In this time efficient manner we invite field experts to share their view with our manners in a presentation and open discussion
Field Trips China is undergoing massive changes at the moment and to allow our members to take close up view of the large infrastructure projects, we also organize field trips.
Company Visits Members can actively learn from each others experience in China and we therefore ask those companies that we believe can contribute useful information to our members to open their China operations to a visit. The company visits usually take place under the guidance of one our Board members.
Seminars and roundtable sessions Guest speakers and experts in the field provide insightful information and comments.
Social activities
In addition to our corporate events we also believe that organizing social activities for our members is an essential task of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce.
We organize these social events throughout the year. The events offer our members the opportunity to meet each other in an informal setting. Often these events are organized with our other European sister chambers.
The traditional Christmas Mixer, organized jointly with all the European Chambers, signals the beginning of the Christmas season in China and is one of the most visited events in Shanghai.
The annual highlight of our social activities is our Spring Ball. The Spring Ball has become the main formal event of the Benelux business community in China. Its prominence is evidenced by the ever increasing numbers of attendance over the past few years.
