The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to a business workshop on August 24: Reporting a small step to sustainability Global Reporting Initiative: Workshop on making a CSR report Over the last few years, sustainability reporting has moved from being a niche activity to a common practice within the business sector. Inside China, state-owned enterprises and listed companies have been requested to issue reports on their economic, environmental, and social performance. This is occurring alongside a growing range of initiatives by large companies to better understand and optimize performance within their supply chains. In short, transparency, measurement, and reporting are becoming important tools in business. This workshop will provide an introduction to sustainability reporting and how to help preparing a company to write a report. The event will include a combination of presentations and interactive exercises to help participants assess their issues and understand how to integrate these into a reporting process.
